It seems like the World Snowboard Tour never takes a break, and in fact, the new season is just getting starting. Last weekend was the 5-Star Slopestyle event at Monster Energy's The Shred Show at the World Ski and Snowboard Festival in Whistler, BC. The Vans Team has been killing it at X Games 2013 in Tignes, France this week. A combination of powerful snowstorms and sunny, bluebird days has made for an eventful contest so far. COPPER MOUNTAIN, CO (Jan. 9) – The Sprint U.S. Grand Prix opened its 17th season with slopestyle qualifiers at Copper Mountain today. #Vans Team Rider Eric Willett cruised through the Dew Tour Slopestyle Semifinals on Wednesday and qualified in third place for Sunday's main event. This gave him plenty of time off to relax and prepare — which apparently means taking practice laps through the course holding a GoPro.
