More from one of the most unique events in snowboarding: Holy Bowly 2013. Snowboarder Magazine dispatched veteren photographer E. Stone out to Japan to document the realness. No triple corks or gold medals here... Holy Bowly is all about shredding with your friends and making new ones, smooth skate style and sharing it with the world. As E. Stone puts it, "We all got into snowboarding because it was a chance to do something different that allowed you to have your own style and do whatever you wanted, as long as you were having fun. Somehow, we drifted in the wrong direction and maybe this is why kids are now quicker to pick up a pair of skis instead of a snowboard. The Holy Bowly will push us right back where we need to be."
