IPOD Wins Halfpipe at World Cup Saas Fee
Posted Nov. 7, 2011, 7:29 a.m.
While the FIS and the TTR try to sort out the Olympic qualification system, IPOD is busy winning. For the second World Cup event in Saas Fee, Switzerland, Iouri Podladtchikov crushed the competition and kicked off his season with a first place finish. The highest contest location in the world looked the part as gray skies and flat light greeted the international field of riders, but it didn't seem to effect the hometown hero as he ended up winning by more than five points! And with that Switch Double McTwist on lock, it should be the first of many more to come. Congratulations to IPOD and check out video of the entire event at fissnowboard.com.
