Jamie Lynn: Where Paint Meets the Park
Art and snowboarding have been known associates since the early days of snurfing, and Mammoth set a new benchmark with last year's inaugural Art Park. Here, you'll find scenesters and shredders taking in the sights of the custom-painted features, which this year feature the work of legendary hyphenate Jamie Lynn.
Whether you realize it or not, you've been exposed to Jamie Lynn one way or another. He's been a professional snowboarder for as long as we can remember, known above all for his picture-perfect method grabs. He's also an amazing artist, whose designs have come to define the look and feel of Lib Tech snowboards for years. His artistic style is as recognizable as his no-glove grabs, and chances of seeing one of his topsheets on the snow is as good as seeing one in an art gallery. Now you can do it all in the same place— The Art Park.
Art Park's full set-up will be located on Mammoth's Round Robin run near Canyon Lodge and Chair 16. Whether it's a quick lap to scope the artwork or spending a day stomping your tricks – there's something for everyone in the Art Park. Who says you have to go to a museum to get some culture?
